VISITOR IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM

All visitors must present a government issued identification card which will be scanned into the system. A visitor's badge is then produced that includes the school name, visitor's name, date, location of visit, and visitor's photograph. This process may be time consuming during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal especially since the computer which will be used to scan the identification cards is currently located in the main office. In an effort to streamline this new process we are asking the assistance of parents in two ways:
- During morning arrival parents who are dropping off their children will be encouraged to allow the school staff to supervise their children to class rather than have parents walk their children to class. Parents who have prearranged appointments with their child's teacher during this time, may sign in as a visitor and proceed to a particular classroom. If parents do not have a prearranged appointment with their child's teacher before school, children must be dropped off in the main corridor.
- Continue to follow the procedures for afternoon dismissal by ensuring all parents and/or those person's authorized to pick up students present the proper government identification card.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact our school office.
